I battled a headache for 3 long years in my early 20s.  No one could tell me what was causing it. I went to numerous different doctors (allergists, neurologists etc).  They put me on antibiotics for 6 months saying it was a chronic sinus infection.  The neurologist wanted to put me on beta blockers (I didn’t even know what that was, but I knew that wasn’t fixing my problem!)  I finally discovered chiropractic care and was able to improve my posture and relieve my headaches.

After 2 knee surgeries and having lower back issues, my focus is on functionally strong and balanced!  My passion is helping others with muscle imbalances, weaknesses, posture issues, injury recovery, etc to get them stronger and able to do whatever they want to do!  While I love that I can individually modify students in my PiYO classes, I am also able to do additional training to help you reach your goals!

I’ve battled my weight since I was 12 years old and have been learning about nutrition and exercise since then!  I’ve been mentoring under my local chiropractor in Functional Movement and posture correction for 9 years.  This led me to study and earn my Personal Training Certification through NASM (National Association of Sports Medicine), one of the harder programs available, then earning a Senior Fitness Specialization.

After having 3 kids and dealing with knee/back/neck issues of a 5’10” frame, I understand how to become functional and strong while working with present limitations. My background also includes a major in Environmental Science, which allows me to take that scientific perspective into personal training and functional movement philosophy.

I train at Severna Park Racquetball & Fitness Club for respective members through their set package rates, through Severna Park Community Center and am also available for Personal Training by appointment for $60/hr, $40/half hour in person or virtually.
