*After 5 sessions with a senior couple and preparing a program for them to do on their own: “Thanks for sending this so quickly, and for helping us with our exercise program. I feel that we've really benefited from your expertise. I especially appreciate how you were able to tailor the program to our wants and needs.”
*I had a "trial" session with a prospective new client who was interviewing three personal trainers from different locations. I made it clear from the beginning that I respected his interest in checking out different trainers to see who he related with personality wise and philosophy the best. This was his email after our session:
“I have decided to work with you! The real difference I experienced this morning was that you were looking at me as an individual, getting a sense of my current level of fitness, etc. before doing any exercises. (plus, you didn't give me any sales pitch . . .!)” After 2 months with client: I think my sessions are great. Just “what the doctor ordered. “. And my back is better, not worse, afterward!
When I first started working with Christi, the results were subtle. But when I drove my boat for the first time this year, I could feel all the progress. My balance was improved markedly. My flexibility was increased, along with my strength. Christi changed the way piloting my boat feels on the choppy Bay. And changed the way I feel in my body! Garry C.

*When I decided to work with a trainer, I will admit, I was picky about the kind of trainer I was looking for. Having been a trainer myself at one time, I knew that not all trainers are created equal. I now have two hip replacements as well as back issues and scoliosis. I need a trainer who is very knowledgeable about both physiology and the physiology of movement. In Christi, I have found someone who is not only extremely knowledgeable, but creative, innovative, enthusiastic and as a bonus, fun to be around. Her level of skill has allowed me to strengthen those areas of weakness, so that I now move better and feel better with much more stamina and energy. She IS the BEST!!! Siri S.
*Christi Darcy is an outstanding trainer in many ways and I have benefited greatly from working with her. For example, she has helped me improve my balance and core strength through guided exercises. In addition, my neck has stopped hurting since she helped me correct the way I was holding my shoulders. I am stronger and stand straighter than I have in many years. Recently someone commented on my appearance and asked if I had lost weight. I had to answer no, but I knew that I looked better because of my improved posture. *For the last 5 months, I have been working out with Christi Darcy. What a great opportunity I have had! I am a 68-year-old female. Although I considered myself “active”, I needed individualized assistance related to strength, balance and toning. Christi has assisted me with these areas. She has incorporated additional training goals, as indicated by my assessment she completed.
*I thought I may not be able to do the exercises. However, Christi adapts my exercises, based on my abilities and limitations and I achieve my goals as she plans and executes routines that for me are broken into small manageable objectives. My program is truly individualized, as Christi makes my sessions (2x per wk) fun and functional! Susan C.
*Christi is excellent in her attention to detail and she has a wonderful talent to diagnose issues before I was aware of what I was doing wrong, but just watching me in action. After working with her 2 sessions/wk for a month, I feel more in control of my body and what I am doing. For example, over the last week, I had a couple of “issues”; one with a chair and one with a small standing object (which I managed to trip over). Both times I was able to catch myself and not fall. Four weeks ago, I probably would’ve been down and possibly hurt. Knowing what I need to do at this time in my life and making it happen is never an easy task, by working with Christi was not only enjoyable, but very productive. Pauline M.
*I have been working out with Christi Darcy for over 5 years. This includes PIYO, which has become my favorite workout, as well as paddle boarding. Christi is a fun, motivating and caring instructor. She pushes you, but only to your own limit. My strength, conditioning and overall fitness have improved remarkably with Christi as an instructor. I have always worked out, previous athlete, and have tried just about every fitness type out there. PIYO is without doubt, the best workout I have ever done. Not only is it an amazing workout, but it doesn't risk injury. Paddling with Christi is also an amazing treat. I have done SUP workout classes, a mother daughter paddle and had Christi run a birthday party for my daughter and her friends. Her versatility in intensity allows her to easily mold the paddle session to the client's needs and wants. Always so much fun out on the water with Christi.
So, if you are looking for an amazing fitness trainer/coach, PIYO instructor and/or paddle instructor, I highly recommend Christi Darcy. I look forward to working with her for many more years to come. Julie H.
